Class: La Jin Fa – The Chinese Art of Stretching (All Levels)

La Jin Fa is a set of stretching exercises that come from traditional Chinese health and wellness philosophies. Based on the same fundamental principles as Qigong (breathing exercises), La Jin Fa follows the human body structure, starting at the head and working down through the shoulders, spine, waist, legs, fingers, and toes.

Practicing La Jin Fa will help loosen muscles, reduce chronic joint/muscle pain, increase circulation, and improve overall flexibility – benefits that carry over directly to Tai Chi practice. Students will receive step-by-step instruction on the La Jin Fa exercises and should practice at a level that suits their current abilities to maximize benefits and avoid injuries.

Prerequisites: This class is suitable for students of all levels and all ages. Students need to bring their own Yoga mat/towel.

這一套拉筋法是依據人體的結構而設計的,先由頭頸開始,繼而肩膊,脊椎腰腿直至手指和腳趾的鍛練,整套運動長約七十五分鐘,如能由開始到結尾一起完成,健身效果是最好的。不過對初學者是一個很大的挑戰,因此我們提供了一個中段休息的時間,讓初學者可以停止,或暫作小息,然後繼續,切記循序漸進的道理,當可令身體健康,而不會受到不必要的損傷。

本課程逐步學練拉筋法,循序漸進,從易到難,學生須自帶瑜伽墊。
