About Master Wu

Known as the “Princess of Tai Chi”. Master Amin Wu is a graduate of the prestigious Beijing University of Physical Education Wushu Department. She specializes in Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi weapons, Tai Chi Push Hand and other martial art forms.  Master Wu is a disciple of Li Bingci, Chief Master of the 4th Generation of Wu-style Tai Chi Chuan. She is a National Wushu Judge in many national and international Tai Chi competitions and tournaments.

DSCN0451Master Amin Wu stands out amongst her peers in Tai Chi and martial arts accomplishments.  She received eight (8) China National championships and International championships from 1997 to 2000, including the highly coveted titles “China’s All Around Champion” for Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Sword, and Tai Chi Push Hand.

DSC_0781Master Amin Wu is an excellent and effective teacher of Tai Chi.  She had taught Tai Chi on China Central Television for six (6) years to hundreds of millions of viewers.  She has produced over 250 episodes on diverse Tai Chi Exercise programs.  Additionally, she has produced, narrated, and taught in over 100 instructional videos that are widely used by students and Tai Chi instructors in China and worldwide.

Master Wu is an expert in five styles of Tai Chi:  Chen, Yang, Sun, Wu and Wu (Hao) styles. She currently teaches Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Weapons, and Health Qigong classes at Millbrae, California.

Master Wu has created many forms of contemporary Tai Chi routines.  She is known worldwide as a Tai Chi expert and a critical contributor to promoting interests and benefits of traditional and contemporary Tai Chi exercises.
